Victoria seals memorable win
Victoria has returned to the top of the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield table, having overhauled the 318 it needed to defeat Western Australia by six wickets at the WACA ground.
In an enthralling match throughout, former Warrior Chris Rogers underlined his class by batting all the way through Victoria's innings on the final day, posting 147 runs as he scored his second century of the match and saw Victoria home with just seven balls to spare before its minimum overs for the day were completed.
His efforts, along with a brisk 87 from David Hussey and Andrew McDonald's composed 60, were enough to see Victoria claim the outright win after the Warriors declared midway through the morning session at 8-404, setting Victoria a target of 318 from a minimum 74 overs.
