Tigers close to victoryA match-saving partnership from Brett Geeves (33 not out) and Tim Paine (46 not out) has guided the Tigers out of trouble and to within 40 runs of victory at stumps on day 3 in its Sheffield Shield clash with South Australia at Bellerive Oval.
The Bulls bowlers started off beautifully and ripped through the Tasmanian top order to leave the Tigers reeling at 6-76 after only 26 overs and still with plenty to get.
Paul George (2-44) snaffled the opening pair of Dane Anderson and Rhett Lockyer in the space of four overs before Paul Cleary (2-26) trapped Travis Birt in front for ten and then had Marsh caught behind for a second-ball duck in the same over.
