MacGill to remain retired
Enigmatic ex-Australian leg spinner Stuart MacGill has been forced to reconfirm his retirement from international cricket after hinting he may launch a comeback.
The 37-year-old retired earlier this year due to ongoing knee and wrist injuries but told Fox Sports: "I'm not retired and whether or not I should be is almost ... I can't come to terms with it at this point in time."
"If I wasn't injured I'd hopefully be playing in India (with the Australian side)."
With the story of a comeback gaining momentum, MacGill then issued a statement apologising for any confusion and reconfirming he had retired.
