Cobras make winning startThe Nashua Cape Cobras were the last team out of the starting gate but they could well be first across the finishing line in this season's MTN Domestic Championship.
The Cobras played their first match of the campaign on Sunday and achieved what few other sides have done recently; they beat the Nashua Titans in their own castle at SuperSport Park and did so by the substantial margin of 110 runs to earn themselves a bonus point as well.
With the Gestetner Diamond Eagles winning by an equally convincing margin of six wickets with nearly 13 overs to spare against the bizhub Highveld Lions in their home match at the De Beers Diamond Oval, there has been a changing of the guard at the top of the log.
